Hotel Do Centro - Funchal (Madeira)

Our experience here was enjoyable.

We were there for 1 day, everything was perfect, thoroughly enjoyed its incredible location close enough to cafes, harbour, and the main attractions within 5 mins-court. The place was exceptionally comfortable, nothing too much trouble, 100% recommend...

It was in an excellent location just off the city centre and market, a supermarket which is open until late, and sea front, old town, shops.

Amicable staff and great location in the center of Funchal. Attractive room with balcony and a big window. Variety of local food options available. Convenient proximity to shops, restaurants, and attractions.

Location is very good (despite difficult to find the first time). The rooms show a good money-value relationship.

Despite being advertised as internet free they charge 1€ = 15 minutes. They were very surprised when I showed them the print out of my booking (shown on the internet page of www.Booked.net) that the internet is free .... It wasn't nice as that was an important criterion for selecting that Hotel. Avoid it if you are internet dependent!

The hotel's location was great as it was really close to the seafront, old town, shops, and the center of Funchal. the nearby presence of the Cheesecake Factory, offering tea and coffee, was a cool bonus. It was nice that the food served was local.

The room was clean and spacious, with a good shower and plenty of hot water. the hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the harbor. the staff were helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was below average, with no fresh fruit and only rolls, ham, and cheese. We had to wait an hour past the check-in time for one of our rooms.

Great value for money with a central location. The room was clean and comfortable with a good view. The staff were friendly and helpful with tourist information and accommodating our needs. The supermarket next door was convenient for snacks.

The breakfast was limited and could be improved. The noise level in some rooms was a bit high, but this could be solved by requesting a different room.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the center of Funchal. With its affordable prices, it offers great value for money. The rooms are well-kept, clean, and even come with a balcony, allowing you to enjoy pleasant views of the city. The staff is friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay.

All things considered, my stay at this hotel was very enjoyable.

We arrived late at night, but the hotel had our reservation ready and we were quickly checked in without any issues. Our room wasvery comfy and tidy, and we had a peaceful night's sleep. The location was fantastic, with everything in the city center within walking distance. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its convenient location and pleasant atmosphere.

The hotel is conveniently located close to a shop with good bread, fresh orange juice, and other amenities nearby. It's also close to everything in the center, making it easy to explore the area. the room was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. the bathroom was well-maintained and provided basic amenities. the breakfast was adequate, with different bread and meat options available.

The hotel lacked air conditioning, and the fan in the room was not effective enough to cool it down.
